Welcome to "Cool to be Homeschooled!"
My name's Anabelle and I'm a mom of two beautiful homeschoolers.
I'm from San Francisco and we moved to Manila in 2007.
I'm writing this blog in response to a fellow homeschooler's suggestion (Trina, many thanks to you!).
We're business travellers which is why my children are "Calverting."
We just got back from the US lugging with us 300 lbs. of supplies from Trader Joe's and 80 lbs. of Calvert Books.
This is our 2nd year with Calvert and we are excited.
Of course we couldn't have done it without Teacher Jevcee.
With her dedication and passion for teaching, my kids have become so well rounded in all aspects.
She incorporated Calvert with Philippine History and Filipino.
I disagree when some critics would say that my children have to socialization.
In fact, we just got back from our 30 day travel to Hongkong and the United States.
I have documented through photograph our travels and my succeeding posts will tell why my children say, "It's cool to be homeschooled!"
